Principal’s Message
I am excited to be a part of the Canterbury family. Middle School is an exciting and dynamic time in the lives of children and I am humbled to have the opportunity to work with your students and help to guide them towards their high school futures and beyond. As a school principal, I feel strongly about kindness, equity, and self-advocacy. I will work tirelessly with our staff to develop in our children a sense of empathy for others and a responsibility to self. I look forward to bringing my knowledge of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and restorative practices to my role as the BMS principal and will work hard to implement structural changes that ensure that our students and staff are safe and making positive growth. In addition, as a parent myself, I know how critical the connection between school and home is.
